Pain on the ulnar side of the wrist involves pain in the pinky side of the wrist joint. The ulnar nerve travels from the neck to the hand. At the wrist, the ulnar nerve penetrates the hand through Guyon’s canal. If the ulnar nerve is compressed here, it leads to ulnar tunnel syndrome and can provoke numbness or tingling in the hands or fingers. The arrangements on the pinky side of the wrist create a complex collaboration with bones, joints, ligaments, and tendons.
